SystemFighter is a misleading anti-spyware application pushed mostly through the use of Trojans, but may come bundled with other malicious software too. Usually, a Trojan virus must be manually installed, that's why scammers do all their best to trick people into downloading malicious software. Once installed, Trojan virus downloads other files from the Internet and creates a startup registry entry so that System Fighter will be loaded each time you log in into Windows. Then SystemFighter will imitate system scans and report a variety of non-existing infections. Finally, it will prompt you to pay for a full version of the program to remove those infections and system security threats. This is obviously a scam. Do not buy this bogus program. Instead, uninstall SystemFighter from your computer upon detection.

Furthermore, SystemFighter will display fake security alerts to make you think your computer is infected with spyware. One of the fake alerts states:

Spyware Alert!
Your computer is infected with spyware. It could damage your critical files or expose your private date on the Internet. Click here to register your copy of SystemFighter and remove spyware threats from your PC.

It will also impersonate Windows Security Center [Figure 2].

To worst think is that those fake alerts will be displayed like every one or two minutes and there is no easy way to close them. And that's not all, this misleading application will block anti-virus software and security related websites to protect itself from being deleted. You may not be able to use Task Manager, Registry editor and System Restore. In more complicated situation you won't be able to boot your PC even in safe mode. So as you can see, this parasite can seriously compromise your computer. Removal delay will only worsen the situation.
