System Tuner is another counterfeiter application which pretends to be system performance optimizer. Likely, it was created by the same group of people who had released HDriveSweeper. However, the main purpose of this rogue remains the same - to steal money from simple-hearted people. To achieve their goals scammers use scare tactics and other well know scheme how to frighten inexperienced users. This program is advertised on several websites that are hosted on the same IP 209.44.126.16. This IP is also used to promote the rogue security application System Security.

Once running, SystemTuner performs system scan and reports various problems. Of course scan results are fake and can not be considered as reliable. But in this case those problems are not necessarily spyware or similar infections. Actually, all those problems remain unnamed. In order to fix those issues user has to register System Tuner, because unregistered version has several removal limitations. Registration of course is paid. The user should know only one thing about SystemTuner - it is parsite itself and must be removed without hesitation.
