Severity scale:SystemCop severity is 73  (73 / 100)

SystemCop is a rogue anti-spyware application from the same family as BlockDefense, SaveDefense, Trust Ninja, WiniFighter, WiniBlueSoft. The rogue security program reports false system security threats, displays fake security alerts and notifications, creates many harmless files and then identifies those files as serious infections. Once installed, this parasite will ostensibly scan your computer and list a variety of infections or privacy issues. Then it will prompt you to pay for a full version of the program to remove computer security threats which do not even exist. Do not purchase System Cop malware. You should uninstall System Cop from your computer upon detection.

Most of the time, SystemCop enters the system with the help of Trojans and fake online anti-malware scanners. The rogue can be installed manually, but usually this is a less common situation. While running, the misleading application will flood your computer with fake and very annoying security alerts. It will claim that your computer is under attack or that your anti-virus software is disabled. As you can see, the main goal of this parasite is to scare you into purchasing the program. Of course, do not buy it! SystemCop is nothing more but a scam. If you have already purchased this program, please contact your bank as soon as possible.

If your computer is infected with this rogue security application, please use the manual removal guide to remove SystemCop from your PC for free. Also scan your computer with a legitimate anti-spyware application to make sure there are no additional malware installed on the system.
