TheLastDefender is a rogue anti-spyware program quite like any other rogue scam roaming the net these days. This parasite infects the system by using trojans, such as the infamous Zlob. Once inside and active, TheLastDefender will use scare tactics (popups, fake system notifications) to intimidate the user into buying the fake full version.

The domain thelastdefender.com is registered to someone without a name and they use an illegitimate payment system. TheLastDefender is a scam and should be treated as such: do NOT download or buy it and block thelastdefender.com using your HOSTS file.
