Tigs is a worm that propagates through unprotected network shares. It can also spread via floppy disks and through file sharing networks. Once executed, the parasite secretly installs itself to the system and runs a payload. Tigs attempts to delete all files of installed McAfee and Symantec software, which can be antiviruses, firewalls and other security-related programs. The worm affects mostly the German edition of the Windows operating system.
