Toolbar888 is installed on a computer secretly as a part of bigger infection. It appears as Internet Explorerâ€™s toolbar that generates excessive amounts of advertisements. Toolbar888 also records keywords entered on search websites and sends the collected data to remote server. Its removal can be complicated because Toolbar888 hides its files and uninstall option.
