Total Antispyware is a rogue anti-spyware application. This parasite is advertised as useful security tool, but it has nothing in common with real security applications. Total Antispyware floods the system with fake alert messages and notifications. Since Total Antispyware uses lots of system resources, this makes difficult to browse the web or use other applications.

TotalAntispyware is usually installed by trojan viruses or downloaded manually. Once active, the rogue performs fake system scan and displays large amount of annoying pop-up windows stating that computer is infected with spyware or similar infections. Those infections of course are either non-existing or legitimate Windows files that shouldn’t be removed, otherwise the system won't work properly. That's why it is very important to ignore those fake alerts and similar disinformation. Next, you should remove Total Antispyware from the system as soon as possible, because it is the only true infection. Removal delay may only worsen the situation.
