In order to achieve it's goals this parasite uses well known tactics how to scare user and make him believe that his computer is seriously infected.

Just like any other rogue anti-spyware application, TotalVirusProtection enters the system without user's permission. Usually with a help of Trojan, such as notorious Zlob. After infection, Total Virus Protection performs fake system scan and shows many pop-up windows or similar notifications with counterfeit information about security problems, privacy issues and other infections. This is done with a hope that user will look for solution and will choose Total Virus Protection for infections removal. As always, scammers suggest to buy a full version of this useless product, because trial version has several limitations. Obviously this is a fraud. Total Virus Protection is an infection itself and must be removed without any consideration.
