Worm Trood is a simple parasite, which spreads by e-mail in messages with infected executable attachments. It can look like as an update for the operating system and works only under some versions of the Windows OS. It places several files on a hard disk and starts its spreading routine. It monitors outgoing e-mails and appends infected files to them if there are no any other attachments. Once per week the worm shows an active window and in a couple of minutes restarts the PC.
