TrustCop is a misleading anti-virus application from the same family as Secure Warrior, Secure Fighter, Security Fighter, Safety Keeper, Save Keeper, Save Defense, Save Keep, Winishield, Wini Fighter. The bogus program is installed through the use of Trojans, fake online anti-malware scanners, other misleading websites and malicious software. Once installed, Trust Cop Antivirus will imitate system scan and display warnings about serious system security threats. To make things look even worse, it will display fake security alerts like every one or two minutes. In reality, the misleading program detects harmless files that were created by the rogue itself during installation. Obviously, you shouldn't purchase this program. We strongly recommend you to uninstall TrustCop from your computer as soon as possible.

As you could already understand, the main goal of TrustCop is to trick you into purchasing the program. In order to achieve its goal, it will not only display false information about computer infections, but also will add many system restrictions.
