United States Cyber Security virus belongs to the category of ransomwares that use Reveton trojan to lock the system down and display a misleading message about law violations. Mostly, they are called Ukash viruses because they ask their victims to use this prepayment system to pay the fine for invented crimes. United States Cyber Security virus attacks users who live in the United States but there are numerous of its versions that are actively spread all around the world. If you have also been informed by United States Cyber Security that you have been found to do various illegal activities on your computer, be sure that it is fake and should be ignored. In order to unlock your computer, follow the steps listed below.
As it was mentioned, United States Cyber Security virus is spread by trojan that relies on misleading email saying that user must open the attachment sent on this email. As soon as this file is opened, PC is infected and completely hacked up. Typically to all Ukash viruses, United States Cyber Security virus locks the entire screen with a fake warning telling about certain illegal activity found on the PC. For example, this threat may declare that you've been watching child pornography, spreading copyrighted files or even infecting users with malware. There are more articles of the US legislation displayed on such alert that look scary, but should never be trusted:
United States Cyber Security

….To unblock the computer, you must pay the fine through MoneyPak of $100.
Of course, all this alert is invented and you should never trust what it says because paying this fine will lead you only to the money loss. In order to unlock your computer, you must remove United States Cyber Security virus. Note that rebooting PC won't help and the same scary message will appear once more.
Firstly, you must unlock your PC. Follow these steps for that:
1. Take another machine and use it to download SpyHunter, STOPzilla or other reputable anti-malware program.
2. Update the program and put into the USB drive or simple CD.
3. In the meanwhile, reboot your infected machine to Safe Mode with command prompt and stick USB drive in it.
4. Reboot computer infected with this virus once more and run a full system scan with anti-malware.
After you finish these steps, scan your PC with updated anti-spyware one more time to get rid of all leftovers of this virus. We recommend SpyHunter for that.
