VBSilly is a worm that spreads through online chat and file sharing networks using popular instant messengers and peer-to-peer applications including ICQ, MSN Messenger, eDonkey2000, Shareaza, Morpheus, BearShare, Kazaa and its derivatives. Once executed, VBSilly installs itself to the system and creates over 4000 infected executable files with meaningful names. These files reside in shared folders of mentioned programs. The worm is designed only to spread and therefore doesn't carry any destructive payload. It automatically runs on every Windows startup.
