VirusGarde is a corrupt anti-spyware program, and as one of the latest attempts at scamming frankophone people, it is designed to scam French-speaking internet users. This parasite is very good at concealing its true nature, but a good scam is a scam nevertheless: VirusGarde will not solve any spyware-related problems, but may well cause them itself, even though its primary target is your money.

VirusGarde usually makes its way to your computer via Trojans and web-browser security holes. When active, VirusGarde allows you to make a scan, which produces interesting and intimidating results in hopes that you will buy the non-functional full version.
