VirusTrigger (a.k.a. Virus Trigger 2.1) is installed secretly by Vundo trojan. VirusTrigger 2.1 loads fabricated system scan results full of infections. It also displays fake security reports and urges user to pay $79.95 or $49.95 for using the program. Virus Trigger is distributed on virus-trigger.com and virustrigger2009.com. Those may seem to be websites of legitimate software developing company, but the first impression is very misleading. Virustrigger2009.com contains article about achievements of Virus Trigger company, but there’s no information or contact details provided. Texts on the website are full of grammatical mistakes. Although it promotes Virus Trigger, product name is changed to TotalCleaner on some sections of virustrigger2009.com and virus-trigger.com. The websites are actually identical. Do not waste your time and money on Virus Trigger. It is not antivirus; it is dangerous malware.
