Vista Malware 2010 is a rogue anti-spyware program from the same family as Vista AntiSpyware 2010. This program is promoted through the use of Trojans that display fake security warnings. Trojans usually come from fake online anti-malware scanners or bogus video websites. When Vista Malware 2010 is installed on your computer it will be configured to start automatically when you log on into Windows. Once active, it will scan your computer for malware and display a list of infections that supposedly can't be removed until you purchase the program. The scan results are all false and can be safely ignored, because it displays these results in order to scare you into thinking that your computer is infected with malware.

While running the program will also display fake security alerts stating that your computer is infected, your sensitive information can be stolen or that you are under attack from a remote computer. What is more, it will block legitimate anti-virus and anti-spyware program to protect itself from being removed. VistaMalware2010 also uses browser hijacking to redirect users of infected computers to various misleading websites full of false information. If you find that you are infected with this bogus program, please do not purchase it.
