Vista Security 2010 is a rogue anti-spyware program from the same family as Vista Security Tool 2010 and Vista Defender Pro. It looks like a legit program but it's not. VistaSecurity2010 is promoted via fake online anti-malware scanners, misleading online video websites or may come bundled with other malware. One way or another, Vista Security 2010 is a scam designed to steal money from inexperienced or simple-hearted people. Once installed, it will supposedly scan your computer for malware and report numerous non-existing infections to make you think that your computer is infected with adware, spyware, Trojans and other malware. That's not true. The only real infection is Vista Security 2010 itself. If you find that your computer is infected with this virus, please use the removal instructions below to remove Vista Security 2010 from your computer as soon as possible.

When running, Vista Security 2010 will also display many fake security alerts and pop-ups from Windows taskbar. Those fake warnings will state that your computer is infected with certain malware that may steal your sensitive information or that you are under attack from a remote computer. However, that's just a part of VistaSecurity 2010 scam. One way or another, it will try to trick you into purchasing the so-called "full" version of the program. Furthermore, it will block legitimate anti-virus and anti-spyware programs to protect itself from being removed. What is more, it will hijack Internet Explorer and redirect you to various misleading websites or display fake warnings about possible attack from the Internet. As you can see, Vista Security 2010 is dangerous and absolutely needless program. You should uninstall it from your PC as soon as possible using the removal instructions below.

1. Click Start->Run (or WinKey+R). Input: "command". Press Enter or click OK.
2. Type "notepad" and press Enter. Notepad will open.
3. Copy and past the following text into Notepad:

4. Save file as "exefix.reg" (without quotation-marks) to your Desktop.
NOTE: choose Save as type: All files
5. Double-click to open exefix.reg. Click "Yes" for Registry Editor prompt window.
6. Download Spyware Doctor or an automatic removal tool below. Update Spyware Doctor and run a full system scan.

If you can't complete the above steps then please use another PC to download an automatic removal tool and exefix.reg (Right Click (Save Target As)) to download file. Copy these files to USB flash drive or any other external media and transfer them to infected computer. Launch exefix.reg file first and then install Spyware Doctor.
