Mozilla Firefox:

  1. Open Mozilla Firefox, go ‘Tools’ -> ‘Add-ons’ -> ‘Extensions’; find and click ‘Uninstall’.
  2. Go ‘Tools’ -> ‘Options’ and reset the startup homepage to, or similar search page.

Google Chrome:

  1. Click on the ‘Customize and control Google Chrome’ icon, select ‘Options’ -> ‘Basic’ and change the homepage to or other.
  2. Click the ‘Manage search engines…’ -> choose ‘Google’ and make it the default search engine.
