This is an Internet worm with a dangerous payload. It spreads by e-mail in messages with infected attachments. When a user executes such attachment, the worm installs itself to the system and starts to spread. It uses Microsoft Outlook mail program to distribute itself to addresses in the Address Book. Vote deletes all system files and attempts to destroy all data on the main hard disk. After such actions the infected computer will fail on startup and a user may lose all the personal documents and software. Some versions of the worm also can change browser settings, infect or overwrite various files. The worm may contain a backdoor, which can be used by attackers to control an infected computer remotely.
