VSCodec PRO is another bogus codec advertised as a new software that lets you create and play full HD H.264 videos. The rogue is promoted through the use of Trojans and fake online advertisements. It may also access your computer by exploiting browser security holes. VSCodec PRO claims that licensed version of the program is able to increase the quality of audio and video up to 60%. Sound great, but unfortunately this is not true. VSCodec PRO is a scam. Once this rogue is active, it will effect sound and video settings and display the following alert:

"Fatal error. Media system on your computer is corrupt. Update your sound and video codec immediately to resolve this issue."

This is a fake error message generated by VSCodecPRO and should be ignored. Instead, remove VSCodecPRO from your computer immediately after detection.
