Vtlbar is an illegal adware program that installs unwanted search toolbar to Internet Explorer. It adds links to commercial web sites and may redirect a browser to advertising resources. It has the ability to update itself via the Internet. Vtlbar can secretly get into the system while visiting unsafe web sites. Once executed, the parasite drops its files into the system directory (C:\Windows\System, C:\Windows\System32 or C:\Winnt\System32) and modifies the registry to register itself within the browser.
