How to uninstall weatherbug from iphone when it doesnt show as a tile?
Bill Landreth
Seems to me people dont understand malware likes to blame some other app for infecting you.... I suggest running revo Uninstaller and check for the real problem, it will probably be there.
I tried all the above, and I have a Mac. I followed the right click, and opened the showed 4 folders/icons inside. Using the back arrow to reveal only the main folder with contents inside, I sent it to the trash...and emptied the trash can immediately. The contents then showed no more folders, however the icon bug remained in my applications....I still couldnt trash that. I then restarted my computer, and the icon went the way of the wind :))

What a royal pain....

I finally figured out how to remove Weatherbug. So simple! The instructions says to RIGHT CLICK on icon in right hand corner. That part is correct but it also says to just click on Exit Weatherbug. You cant just click on it. You also have to RIGHT CLICK on Exit Weatherbug. Did it for me. I logged off and came back on today and it was gone. Yaaaaaaaaaaaay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have windows 8 and WeatherBug found a way in. This was the first time Ive seen it. That was 3 days ago. I couldnt figure out how to get rid of it until I came to this site and saw the comment by Ms.Gonzalez. I am a computer idiot and can barely use google, but I found PROGAMS, clicked it and all of my programs came up just as Ms.Gonzalez said. Scrolled down to WEATHERBUG, clicked it and at top it said click to uninstall. I did and a window popped up that said to wait for current program to finish for uninstall to be complete. Once you see that you got him. Dont wait for that to happen it already has...just close out of the pop up and close the programs window and behind it is a WeatherBug window waiting for you to click. It should already have uninstall "checked" so go to bottom and click NEXT. Screen will change and at bottom click FINISH. WEATHERBUG IS NOW SQUASHED!
I traded a droid for an iphone, and unfortunately the weaterbug app transfered to my new phone. How do I get it off of my iphone?
