WebCry is a search engine hijacker, which will redirect typed URLs to unsolicited predefined rogue anti-spyware program websites, thus promoting them. None of the products, promoted by this parasite are to be trusted, since they are likely non-functional or malware-related.

WebCry is a threat and should therefore be removed upon detection.
