webHancer is a spyware parasite that records addresses of user visited web sites and sends gathered data to predetermined remote servers. It has the ability to update itself via the Internet. The threat is bundled with some advertising-supported software such as Grokster or AudioGalaxy file sharing programs. webHancer silently runs on every Windows startup.
