Remove Win 7 Security. Removal instructions

Also known as: Win7 Security, Win7Security
Severity scale:Win 7 Security severity is 68  (68 / 100)

Win 7 Security is a rogue anti-spyware program that gives false or exaggerated reports of threats on your computer and displays fake security alerts to make you think that your PC is infected with malicious software. This fake program comes from fake online scanners, malicious or infected sites, through software vulnerabilities. It may be also promoted on popular social networks. Once installed, Win 7 Security will run a fake system scan and display a list of false malware infections on your computer. Then it will ask you to pay for a full version of the program to remove the infections. As you can see, Win7 Security is nothing more but a scam. Don't purchase it. Get rid of Win 7 Security virus as soon as possible.

As a typical rogue anti-spyware program, Win7Security will constantly display fake security alerts and pop-ups claiming that your computer is infected or under attack by an Internet virus or from a remote computer. One way or another, such false information should be ignored just like the false scan results. Furthermore, the rogue program will block legitimate antivirus applications and hijack Internet Explorer. In some cases, it blocks security related websites too.

It goes without saying that you should remove Win 7 Security from your computer upon detection. You can remove it either manually or with an automatic removal tool. However, please note that manual removal instructions were made for Win 7 Security only, but there might be also additional malware on your PC that comes bundled with the rogue program. That's why we strongly recommend you to use an automatic removal tool. Also, if you have already purchased this phony program then you should contact your credit card company and dispute the charges.
