WindoFix, also called WindowFix, is a potentially unwanted application that displays false scan results to make you think your computer has many problems and errors. This malicious program can be downloaded from WindoFix.com website and can be installed only in a manual way. It is not a surprise that many users are tricked into taking this software serious because they are promissed that WindoFix will increase system performance and clean Windows Registry.
Once active, WindoFix will scan your computer and report a variety of system errors including missing DLL files, invalid device drivers, invalid application paths and unnecessary files. You will then be prompted to buy a full version of this program to fix those errors. What is more, WindoFix claims that it will increase system performance and clean Windows registry. However, we strongly recommend you to avoid this program.
