WiniGuard is another scam trying to gain money by exploiting the need of security applications. It is promoted as anti-spyware tool. Wini Guard is not a security tool; in fact, it is a malware distributed by trojans. Winiguard is usually installed by Zlob trojan, but it may also infect a computer secretly via software vulnerabilities. The most common way to get infected with Winiguard is downloading a fake video codec that hides a trojan.

Although Winiguard is not capable of locating or deleting threats, it insists on paying $49.95 for using the program. This malware isn’t able to damage your computer, but it may trick you into voluntarily giving your money away. Do not purchase this tool and remove it as soon as possible.

Wini Guard may redirect web browser to winiguard.com and load plenty of pop-ups in order to push people into buying a license of Winiguard.
