WinXDefender is a rogue anti-spyware program that can be installed on your system either through trojans or manually. After the installation, it starts to generate exaggerated reports about the infections of the system.

After installing itself into your hard drive, the threat starts to generate numerous pop-up security notifications, prompting you to check your computer for spyware with a free WinXDefender trial.

WinXDefender then asks you to purchase the "full" version of the software, claiming that it will remove all the threats you're dealing with here. Don't get excited, it's a fake, and it may even install more malware, such as trojans and browser hijackers, into your system.

WinXDefender is an obvious scam, as its designers didn't even bother to create a solid and well-crafted website: it looks exactly like all the other rogue software websites do. DO NOT download or buy it: remove WinXDefender ASAP if you do not want to part with your money and/or your cherished private info.
