WistaAntivirus is a rogue anti-spyware program and a clone of WinDefender 2008. This parasite uses trojans, such as Zlob or Vundo, to enter the system amd to mislead the user into thinking he is infected. WistaAntivirus does this by flooding the user with popups and fake system notifications, supposedly to "inform" him of an infection or multiple infections present on the system. While this is not true, it creates a reason for the user to buy WistaAntivirus.

wista-antivirus.com doesn't provide any useful information, most notably, no contact details. WistaAntivirus is a scam and should be treated as such: do NOT download or buy it and block it's homepage using your HOSTS file.
