XP AntiMalware 2010 is a fake anti-malware program. This phony program is promoted through the use of Trojans that display fake security alerts on your computer. Fake alerts claim that your computer is infected and that you should download and install XP AntiMalware 2010 in order to remove the infection. Once installed, XP AntiMalware 2010 will be configured to start automatically each time you log on into Windows. While running, it will scan your computer and report numerous infections on your computer. The scan results are false so you shouldn't worry about that too much. The only real infection is XPAntiMalware 2010. Please use the removal guide below to remove this infection from your computer as soon as possible.

When active, this fake program display a variety of security alerts on your computer. XPAntiMalware2010 will claim that your computer is infected with Trojans, worms, adware, spyware and other malware. It may also display a fake alert claiming that your computer is under attack from a remote computer. All of these nag screens are being shown to scam you into thinking you are infected with false information so that you purchase the program. Here is the guide for removal of XP AntiMalware 2010:

1. Click Start->Run (or WinKey+R). Input: “command”. Press Enter or click OK.
2. Type “notepad” and press Enter. Notepad will open.
3. Copy and past the following text into Notepad:

NOTE: choose Save as type: All files
5. Double-click to open exefix.reg. Click “Yes” for Registry Editor prompt window.
6. Download an anti-spyware like Spyware Doctor, update it and run a full system scan.
