XP Micro Antivirus is a rogue security application that reports false threats and displays fake security alerts to trick you into purchasing the program. It just want to make you think that your computer is infected with malware and then prompts to pay for a full version of the program in order to remove the infections or threats which don't even exist. Just like all the other rogue programs, XP Micro Antivirus is promoted through the use of Trojans, social engineering or comes bundled with other malicious software. Once installed, it will display fake security alerts like every one or two minutes claiming XP Micro Antivirus Protection has detected some serious threats that can harm your computer. It may also claim that Trojan viruses can steal your passwords and even identity. Don't be fooled. XP Micro Antivirus is a scam, don't purchase it. Instead, please remove this rogue program from your computer as soon as possible using the removal guide below. You can remove it either manually or with an automatic removal tool.

When running, XP Micro Antivirus will also block some security related websites and legitimate anti-virus and anti-spyware software in order to protect itself.
