ZeroPopUp is an Internet Explorer toolbar providing a web search service and pop-up blocker. It changes the web browser's default search page to undesirable web site. ZeroPopUp is distributed through ActiveX drive-by downloads and therefore can get into the system while visiting some insecure web resources such as the official www.zeropopup.com site. The threat runs every time the user launches Internet Explorer.
