Trojan.win32.ZlobDldr is new name for infamous Zlob trojan. It’s actually a copy of Zlob which promotes corrupt security tools. Trojan.win32.ZlobDldr was snatched distributing Smart Antivirus 2009 malware; but there’s high possibility that win32.ZlobDldr will distribute other malwares in near future as well.

ZlobDldr generates system alerts with warnings of numerous infections aboard a machine. All the pop-ups loaded by Trojan.win32.ZlobDldr are fabricated, but users should be worried about ZlobDldr trojan itself. Trojan.win32.ZlobDldr is harmful; it may erase your data or crash the system regularly.

ZlobDldr infection is easy to recognize because it displays the same message all the time:

“SmartAntivirus TrayMonotor
Trojan.win32.ZlobDldr deleted, This Trojan Allows attackers
To access your computer from remote locations, stealing
passwords, Internet banking and personal data. This process
is a security risk and should be removed from your system”

Trojan.win32.ZlobDldr appears on processes list as well. It usually hides under processes named Trojan.win32.ZlobDldr.exe and mwin32.exe. This parasite might be difficult to destroy manually as it keeps reinstalling itself using security vulnerabilities.
