Brave Sentry reviewBrave Sentry, also known as BraveSentry, is a corrupt anti-spyware program that uses false positives as goad to purchase. We have carefully tested Brave Sentry on absolutely clean computers, which were never infected with spyware, adware or any other parasites. However, the application managed to find several malicious objects related to different security and privacy threats. It must be noted that the program could run on only one machine, all other setups have failed due to Brave Sentry bugs and compatibility problems.The program refuses to remove any parasites it finds and asks to purchase the full version. Brave Sentry is a clone of SpySheriff, SpywareNo!, SpyDemolisher, Spyware-Stop and Pest Trap. All these programs share almost the same spyware definitions database, produce similar scan results and have identical interfaces. Furthermore, these rogue products consist of terribly similar components. The program is illegally distributed with the help of dangerous parasites, malicious advertisements and certain exploits. In our opinion, the Brave Sentry vendor and its affiliates must be held fully responsible for such issues. We have already received user complaints stating that their computers were hit by the Brave Sentry parasite, which displays fake warning messages, downloads the corrupt spyware remover, hijacks the web browser and the desktop.
