CoffeeCup Spyware Remover reviewWe have tested free version of CoffeeCup Spyware Remover. On clean system it didn't find any suspicious objects, program doesn't use false positives. However, it provides protection only from 573 adware types, scans only files and doesn't check the Windows registry or running processes. It was unable to find all spyware and adware on infected computer during full system scan.Free version of CoffeCup Spyware Remover includes update function, which unfortunately doesn't work. The program displays an error message (see a screenshot below) and crashes. We were unable to update outdated reference file, released in March, 2004. After each system scan, even if report is blank, CoffeeCup Spyware Remover shows deceptive message, which says that the program has found malware. It also asks to purchase full version. See example of false notice below. CoffeCup Spyware Remover is the same application as JC Spyware Remover & Adware Killer, PAL Spyware Remover and Easy Spyware Killer. Its interface, scan results, even installed files are exactly the same. The official domain is coffeecup.com. We DO NOT recommend this product.
