We have tested free version of Spyware Removal on clean uninfected system. The application has found 2 registry entries related to browser hijackers, whole cookie directory and a cookie file (see screenshot below). All found registry entries contained default settings of Microsoft Internet Explorer, which were absolutely safe. All cookies on our test system were related to legitimate Internet resources and did not possess any threat. These facts prove that Spyware Removal uses false positives.
Free version refuses to remove malware it found. It asks to purchase full commercial version.
Spyware Removal is the same application as AlertSpy and AdwarePatrol. Their interfaces, scan results, even installed files are exactly the same. The only difference is name.
