Spyware Sheriff reviewSpyware Sheriff (not to be confused with Spy Sheriff) is a corrupt anti-spyware program illegally installed to user computers by dangerous trojans, through malicious advertisements and via certain exploits. This application is not only a weak spyware remover, but also a clone of the infamous SpyAxe, Spyware Strike, Spy Falcon and Spyware Quake risks.We have carefully tested Spyware Sheriff on several computers including absolutely clean machines and PCs infected with spyware and adware parasites. Test results revealed that although the program does not produce false positives and really finds some malicious parasites, it cannot detect most even well-known threats, not to mention emerging, unknown parasites. This means that Spyware Sheriff is a rather useless program that is definitely unable to protect user privacy and system security. The application refuses to remove any parasites it finds and asks to register and purchase the full version. Some Spyware Sheriff's functions like updates, and components like Active Guard, the real-time monitor, are disabled. The program is illegally distributed with the help of dangerous parasites, malicious advertisements and certain exploits. In our opinion, Spyware Sheriff's vendor and its affiliates must be held fully responsible for such issues. We have already received user complaints stating that their computers are infected with the SpywareSheriff parasite, which displays fake warning messages, downloads the corrupt spyware remover and hijacks the web browser. Spyware Sheriff is a clone of SpyAxe, Spyware Strike, Spy Falcon and Spyware Quake. It has a resembling interface and consists of terribly similar components.
