Spyware Tek, also known as Spyware Removal System, was tested on clean computer. Full system scan was performed. The application has detected 7 files related to 2 adware programs. However, all found files were safe and associated with harmless software. For instance, text file readme.txt is related to Electronic Arts Need For Speed Underground 2 computer game. Files unins000.dat are essential components of several spyware removers and a system utility. They are required for proper uninstalling of the corresponding software. Screenshot below proves that Spyware Tek uses false positives.

The design of graphical user interface is ugly and inconvenient. The application has no update function.

Free version refuses to remove any objects it found. It asks to purchase full commercial version.
