TrueWatch uses ridiculous false positives. It was tested on absolutely clean computer. Full system scan was performed. The application has found 10 infected objects related to the network diagnostic tool, exploit and keyloggers However, none of listed spyware was installed to the system. For instance, harmless text file remote.txt, which is a part of Vim text editor, was detected as About Modern Remote Switching exploit. Files related to legitimate Mathsoft Mathcad mathematics program were detected as ActiveVB KeyLogger. Components of reputable Spybot – Search & Destroy antispyware were shown as network diagnostic tools AATools. The registry entry of legitimate Wise installer was recognized as SC Keylog. Free version refuses to remove any items it found. It asks to register and purchase full product. It doesn’t provide updates and uses outdated spyware definitions database.
