What should I do? I don’t know how and when, but someone set my homepage to Hohosearch.com. This search engine works somehow suspicious, and I think that it opens random websites when I click on its search results. Why is this happening? How do I fix this problem?

If Hohosearch.com has replaced your previous homepage without your knowledge, we assume that you have installed some free application that brought Hohosearch.com virus to your computer. Hohosearch.com redirects to predetermined third-party websites because it is not designed to function as a regular search engine. The developers of it seek to drive traffic to predetermined websites to generate pay-per-click income.
We strongly recommend removing this browser hijacker from your computer using a reputable anti-spyware program (for example, FortectIntego). Nonetheless, you can try to remove Hohosearch.com manually. You can find manual removal instructions here.
