Hi, I accidentally infected my PC with ransomware virus, which says it’s name is Flotera ransomware. I want to know if it is a serious virus. It says that I must pay a ransom to decrypt my files, should I believe ? Maybe it is possible to recover files using some data recovery tools? Also, how can I remove Flotera virus from the system?

Flotera ransomware is a variant of Vortex ransomware (in fact, there's hardly any difference between them). Both viruses were derived from Polski ransomware by the same cybercriminal. Unfortunately, there are no known data recovery tools. You can only recover your files if had had a network traffic tracking software running on your system at a time when the ransomware attack occurred. Sadly, not many users have these programs.
To remove Flotera ransomware from the system, please follow guidelines given in this post - Flotera ransomware virus. How to Remove? (Uninstall Guide).
