Hi, my files have been corrupted in some kind of way and now I cannot open them! I have found a suspicious file called !_HOW_TO_RESTORE_[gjb2].HTML, which opens a website cakked Princess Locker and tells me that my files have been ENCRYPTED. Now what the hell does that mean? Is this is some kind of joke? Because if yes, I don’t find this joke funny at all. Please help me remove Princess Locker parasite and make files accessible again. Thanks.

Sadly, we can see that you have become a victim of the recently released Princess Locker ransomware attack. Ransomware is a destructive computer user built to corrupt files on the system and ask for ransom. In other words, such virus distorts victim's files and asks to buy a special decryption software that can restore them. The encryption this virus uses is sophisticated, and sadly there are no tools that can decrypt corrupted data for free. To learn more about Princess Locker operation specifics, see this post - Princess Locker ransomware virus. How does it operate? How to remove it? (Removal Instructions)
We would like to point out that this virus is especially dangerous and it is likely that it might be as strong and aggressive as Cerber virus is. The design of Princess Locker's payment site is entirely the same as Cerber's. As we have mentioned already - there is no way to decrypt files but to pay a ransom, however, we highly recommend you NOT to do that. This virus asks for an extremely large sum of money, and we do not think that you should risk losing your money over your files. Besides, crooks might not provide the decryption software at all. We strongly recommend you to take actions and remove Princess Locker virus instead of wondering where to get money to pay the ransom. You can entirely remove this ransomware virus with FortectIntego and other trustworthy malware removers.
