So my system is currently paralyzed by id-8.(email).java. I can’t find a solution for the encryption. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. I don’t have backup because it was infected as well and the shadow files are gone. Restore points are gone as well. So basically the machine is inoperable and all of my data is unacceptable.

We are sorry to hear that you lost your files due to the ransomware attack. However, .java ransomware virus seems to be related with Dharma ransomware, which can be decrypted with an official software. Additionally, you can try alternative tools, such as Data Recovery Pro that might help with data encryption too. However, before data recover, you should remove ransomware from the system. While it remains there, restored files might be encrypted again.
