What is Grocery Coupons?

Grocery Coupons is yet another adware that is also known as a potentially unwanted program (PUP). It is promoted on its official website and claims being able to provide its users with “grocery coupons, printable coupons, shopping savings and more”. If you would try visiting ITS official website, probably you would think that it's reliable at first. However, if you would try to click on all coupon links that are provided there, you would be redirected to the same new tab notifying that “This coupon is no longer available”. That's a clear sign that this app is not reliable and you should not even consider installing it. Unfortunately, if it has already managed to get inside your computer in a bundle with another freeware, make sure that you remove it as soon as possible. When Grocery Coupons virus gets inside, it installs itself on Windows startup, hijacks every web browser that it finds on your computer and starts tracking your online activities with a help of tracking cookies. Later on, it may start delivering pop-up, banner, in-text and other forms of ads marked as 'Ads by Grocery Coupons', which are the only prominent indicator that this application has infiltrated your computer. In addition to that, you may notice diminished performance of your web browser, redirects to unknown websites, suspicious connections to the Internet and so on. Most importantly, be careful with Grocery Coupons redirects because this dubious program may be used by various third parties and seek to reroute you to sponsored websites. If you do not want this to happen, do not waste your time and run a full system scan with Reimage or another reputable anti-spyware in order to get rid of this suspicious program.

How can Grocery Coupons hijack my computer?

If you believe that various apps offering to help save time and money are really useful, you may easily get intrigued to install Grocery Coupons as well. On its official site you may install its free version or may even buy its 'Premium Membership' for a considerable amount of money. Probably you have already understood that we do not recommend doing so because this application may act unfair and cause you various issues. By the way, don't try to buy it because you may disclose sensitive data, such as banking information, to the questionable third parties. Unfortunately, this browser extension may also get inside your computer without an appropriate permission asked, i.e. bundled with various freewares, such as download managers and PDF creators. Therefore, if you want to prevent its infiltration, you have to avoid installing free software, or if you really need certain program, make sure that you install it very carefully. Select Advanced or Custom installation option and investigate every check box that it given to you. The biggest mistake, which may end up with an installation of various potentially unwanted programs, including Grocery Coupons, is to click the 'Next' or 'I accept' button without reading the notifications because this way you may leave various plug-ins, add-ons, extensions or toolbars left marked by default and install them inadvertently. If this has already happened, don't wait until Grocery Coupons redirects and eliminate this adware right now.
