What is Ale.coupthree.com?

Ale.coupthree.com is a pop-up virus that is typically caused by an adware-type program. It's not a very typical adware, because in most of the cases adwares deliver users tons of commercial advertisements. In case of Ale.coupthree.com virus, be aware that it also displays advertisements but not commercials and, in most of the cases, they look so reliable that people do not inspect that an adware causes them. In fact, Ale.coupthree.com is an advertising platform that may either redirect people to a new tab stating that they need to install or update certain software or people may randomly receive fake pop-up alerts on random websites that they visit. It's not recommended to click on them any way because instead of a promised update, such as Java/Flash/Media player or any type of web browser, you may install another potentially unwanted program, such as AppEnable, Browser Warden, Coupon Builder and so on. By the way, broadly speaking, it's risky to keep all adware-type programs on your computer to the risk of loosing personal and non-personal data. It is known that adwares uses tracking software in order to investigate user's web browser habits. Unfortunately, there are many instances when cyber criminals reused potentially unwanted programs for implementing malicious tasks, such as tracking user's key strokes and collecting sensitive data. You can quite easily prevent this happening. All you have to do is to scan your computer with a reputable anti-spyware, such as Reimage as soon as you notice unusual update alerts appearing on ecah of your web browser.

How can Ale.coupthree.com hijack my computer?

At first sight Ale.coupthree.com seems like a link to a website. Isn't it? However, such 'link' does not exist on its own and never infiltrates computers alone. It is closely related to various freewares and sharewares and is usually found promoted as a browser plug-in, add-on, toolbar or extension that is supposed to enhance user's web browsing experience. Ale.coupthree.com pop-up ads are caused by an adware-type program that gets inside users computers via popular free software and causes them them to work in an unusual manner. First of all, you may notice system slow downs alongside an excessive amount of fake pop-up alerts and Ale.coupthree.com redirects to a new tab or other suspicious websites. Be aware that the longer you keep this adware on your computer, the bigger is the chance that other potentially unwanted programs will get inside your computer. Therefore, do not wait long and take needed actions as soon as you noticed that web browsing on Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer is not that smooth and efficient and is it used to be. If you want to prevent such infiltrations in the future, you have to install freewares more carefully. The most important thing is to opt for Advanced or Custom installation option and deselect all additional components that has been integrated into the main installer of your selected freeware. Don't forget to unmark all potentially unwanted programs because later you will have to take actions to get rid of them.
