AV7. How to remove? (Uninstall guide)

removal by Olivia Morelli - -   Also known as AV 7 | Type: Rogue Antispyware

AV7 is a renamed version of Antivirus 7 malware and it uses the same misleading methods to make you think that your computer is infected with Trojans, spyware, adware and other viruses. As you may already know, such fake programs are promoted through the use of fake online scanners and other malicious software. Once installed, AV7 will supposedly scan your computer and display fabricated list of infections to scare you into thinking that your PC is infected with malware. Then it will display fake security warnings and nag screens to make this whole scam look more realistic. It will even impersonate Windows Security Center and state that your computer is not protected and that you should purchase AV 7 to make it more secure. As you can see, the main goal of this bogus program is to trick you into purchasing the “full” version of the program. Obviously, you shouldn’t do that. Instead, please use the removal instructions below to remove AV7 from your computer as soon as possible.

As a typical rogue program, AV7 may block legitimate anti-virus programs and disable certain Windows options and tools to protect itself from being removed. It may also hijack Internet Explorer and redirect you to various malicious web sites that either promote rogue programs or displays a bunch of misleading ads. If you find that your computer is infected with AV 7 virus please use the removal instructions below to uninstall it from your computer upon detection. If you have already purchased it then you should contact your credit card company and dispute the charges.
