removal by Linas Kiguolis - -   Also known as Eazel Search | Type: Browser hijacker
12 is an untrustworthy search engine, which was released by the same company as Eazel Search. Keep in mind that these search engines have no malicious code inside, so they cannot harm computers. However, sometimes they act like viruses, especially when they start altering computer's settings, slow down browsers and cause other unwanted activities. If you found instead of your start page or default search engine, this is a sign that you downloaded some kind of freeware and you didn't focus on its installation process. In this case, you should remove from your computer because it may redirect your browser to a seriously infected website and initiate other insecure activities.

How can appear on my computer?

We have already mentioned that is distributed in a bundle with free downloads, such as PDF creators, download managers and similar programs. If you want to avoid this search engine, you should try to pay more attention to freeware's installation process and find these checkboxes that agree to install this search engine on computer. You should deselect them as soon as you find them because otherwise you may find out that it infiltrated your computer and you can't browse normally. As a rule, tries to redirect browsers to related websites, displays commercial ads and initiates similar activities. If you known what we are talking about, follow these steps and remove from the system.
