Moreover, you can get irritated after realizing that this application might violate your personal information. All in all, this PUP is not supposed to dwell on the operating system. Speaking of the range of activity, this program mainly shows Free Download Seeker ads which appear in every visited websites. You can find this program in Google Chrome store as a browser extension as well. It claims to provide a beneficial function of switching between the browsing tools. According to your own preferences, it proposes free programs which match your interests. The problem of this phenomenon is that Free Download Seeker collects both, personal and non-personal information (IP address, geographical location, search entries, visited websites). Thus, this collected data is not only used for compiling the websites, which fit your interests, but also for maintaining “Services.” The adware might transfer the personal data to third-party advertising companies which use it for creating pay-per-view ads.

Furthermore, Free Download Seeker redirect is another disadvantage that needs to be discussed. The ads created by this adware might mislead you to suspicious domains, for example, gaming or advertising websites, and peer-to-peer file sharing web pages. Various hyperlinks to videos and articles might be infected with trojans or more destructive viruses. Thus, try to exit such websites. To sum up, do not delay Free Download Seeker removal.

The distribution of the adware

Besides directly downloading the program, there is another way how this program spreads. Do you remember downloading a new app? Then you can already guess how the adware invaded your computer. It is an unspoken rule to skip the installation instructions and finish the process without any awareness that Free Download Seeker or any other adware slipped into the computer. Scammers know such tendency and hide their unwanted products under “Recommended” settings. Thus, when the “Install” button is clicked, the adware tiptoes into the system.
