Good Memory. How to remove? (Uninstall guide)

removal by Gabriel E. Hall - -   Also known as GoodMemory | Type: Rogue Antispyware

Good Memory is a rogue computer optimization tool that reports fake hard drive and system performance errors or problems. This fake program is from the same family as Memory Fixer and Fast Disk. It will pretend to scan your hard drive for errors and after the fake scan it will list numerous problems. It will prompt you to buy a license of Good Memory in order to fix the errors. In reality, though, these errors and problems do not even exist. Do not fall victim to this rogue program and do not purchase it. If you find that your computer is infected then please use the removal instructions outlined below to remove Good Memory and related malware.

Good Memory can be removed from the computer either manually or with an automatic removal tool given below. One way or another, you will have to end the main processes of this rogue program first. Otherwise, you won't be able to delete the files or use our removal tool. You need to open task manager or Process Explorer and end the following processes: [random].exe, for example hdgrtHdgfrts.exe or hdg5dfGrd445w.exe. If you can do this in normal mode then reboot your computer in safe mode with networking and try again. Some examples of the fake problems it detects on your computer are:

Requested registry access is not allowed. Registry defragmentation required
Drive C initializing error
Ram Temperature is 83 C. Optimization is required for normal operation.
Data Safety Problem. System integrity is at risk.
Registry Error – Critical Error

Fake warnings:

Critical Error!
Damaged hard drive clusters detected. Private data is at risk.

Critical Error
Hard Drive not found. Missing hard drive.

Good Memory is a scam and should be removed from the computer as soon as possible. Detailed removal instructions are outlined below. Also note that if you have already purchased this bogus program then you should contact your credit card company and dispute the charges. We also strongly recommend you to use an automatic removal tool to remove Good Memory and related malware from the computer.
