Home.chromatic.rocks is a website that can replace your recent homepage if a browser hijacker has slithered into your computer. Browser hijackers are obnoxious programs that change your default homepage and initiate other arbitrary activities on the victim’s PC. If you want to find out more information about Home.chromatic.rocks and how does it work, please proceed to the following paragraph.

Important information about Home.chromatic.rocks browser hijacker:

Home.chromatic.rocks is a potentially unwanted program (PUP). It is spread together with freeware or shareware, and it is actually hard to find a download link for this application online. Such facts already make this program look suspicious; it is clear that computer users do not install this program by their wish. So by the moment this program enters your computer, it installs Home.chromatic.rocks extension to your Internet browsers (whether you use Google Chrome, Safari, Opera, Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer). Then it sets Home.chromatic.rocks as your default homepage without even asking for your permission. Our research team does NOT recommend using this website to search for something online – it is highly unreliable. Based on complaints that have received from computer users, we can claim that this fake search engine does not deliver reliable search results. It displays suspicious outcomes that often redirect computer user to websites that he or she may not expect to end up on. Please take note that Home.chromatic.rocks is sponsored by third-party companies that seek to promote their web pages. Unfortunately, some of these websites can be doubtful and promote questionable content.

Another unusual fact about Home.chromatic.rocks hijacker is that it can collect information about your browsing activity. So you can reveal information like what websites you have visited, what keywords did you use to search for something online, which pages did you add to your bookmarks, and even reveal your IP address! We do not recommend to share such information with unreliable sources as you can never know for what purposes the information about you may be used. Plus, because of the activity of Home.chromatic.rocks, your computer may significantly slow down, and you may not be able to browse as smoothly as before. To get rid of such browsing interferences, we strongly recommend removing Home.chromatic.rocks with a reliable anti-spyware program, for example, Reimage.

How can Home.chromatic.rocks hijack computers?

Home.chromatic.rocks is marketed via a very shady method. The developers of this controversial program tend to spread Home.chromatic.rocks concealed as an optional download together with legitimate freeware or shareware. So if you ever download free programs from the Internet, you have to be extremely careful and look for clues if the downloaded program has any suspicious attachments. To do so, you need to follow the installation process very attentively. Also, it is important to choose safe installation mode – so opt for ”advanced” or ”custom” one. After doing so, deselect any unfamiliar statements in the following setup window. By the way, you have to know that ”default” or ”standard” installation methods are not safe, because they do not provide the opportunity to see what does the software that you have downloaded include. However, if the prevention methods are not important for you now, because you want to find out how to remove Home.chromatic.rocks that is already running on your computer, you should proceed to the following paragraph.
