Internet Security 2014. How to remove? (Uninstall guide)

removal by Lucia Danes - -   Also known as InternetSecurity2014 | Type: Rogue Antispyware

Internet Security 2014 seems to be another rogue anti-spyware, which hails from the same group of malwares as Internet Security, Internet Security 2012, Internet Security 2013 and many other similar threats. We have to confess that we still don't have its example. However, we decided to follow some reputable security experts (Loaris, ESGI Support Center, ..) and include this program to our database in order to warn our readers about this threat. Basically, it looks like previous variants of viruses that belong to the same group and the main thing, which differs from the other ones, is its name. Beware that as soon as such rogues get inside the system, they tend to display fake alerts and system scanners that report about different kinds of security issues. In addition, they offer to purchase the licensed version and remove these viruses. Please, do NOT pay for Internet Security 2013 if it infects your computer. As long as it is a new parasite, we recommend using automated security programs for eliminating its files.

Internet Security 2014 is expected to rely on the same distribution method as Internet Security 2013 and other rogues. It may rely on trojan horse, which exploits security vulnerabilities for getting inside the system undetected. As soon as it does that, it downloads Internet Security 2014's files and sets it to start as soon as you reboot your infected machine. If you are unexpected PC user, you may fall for its fake alerts and system scanners that typically appear on every search session. Previous Internet Security's versions have been reporting:

System hacked!
Unknown program is scanning your system registry right now! Identity theft detected!

System danger!
Your system security is in danger. Privacy threats detected. Spyware, keyloggers or Trojans may be working in the background right now. Perform an in-depth scan and removal now, click here.
